# Clerica

> Personalized consumer rights monitoring: track policy and terms changes on the services you use, with plain-language alerts when your rights shift.

## About

Clerica (https://clerica.io) monitors publicly available Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and related policy documents for third-party services users choose to follow. When a change is detected, the platform diffs versions, runs AI-assisted analysis weighted by user Care Priorities, and delivers summaries via in-app notifications and email digests.

Clerica is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Monitoring uses public policy URLs only; it does not require access to your Netflix, Google, or other account credentials.

## Stage and team

Clerica is an early-stage, bootstrapped product built by a small team. We have a working MVP at https://app.clerica.io with a handful of early testers (roughly eight as of mid-2026). We have not yet reached meaningful paid revenue. We are transparent about that: sustaining and improving the product depends on people finding it useful and choosing to sign up, upgrade, or otherwise support the mission.

We are not a large company, venture-backed scale-up, or enterprise vendor. Catalog numbers on the site (1,000+ services in the monitoring database, 700+ public tracker landing pages) describe policy coverage breadth, not user count, revenue scale, or market dominance.
