Moosejaw
Moosejaw is a defunct online and brick-and-mortar retailer that specialized in outdoor recreation apparel and gear for activities such as snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, and camping. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Madison Heights, Michigan, the company was known for its quirky marketing and a product selection that included leading outdoor brands like The North Face, Patagonia, and Arcteryx alongside its own Moosejaw label. After being acquired by Walmart in 2017 and subsequently by Dick's Sporting Goods in 2023, the brand was integrated into Dick's outdoor-focused subsidiary, Public Lands, resulting in the closure of its remaining physical stores and the shutdown of its website in August 2024.
